I spent 25+ years working as a Software Engineer and Manager for the Space Shuttle program. Since the cancellation of the Shuttle Program, I have spent by time as a contractor supporting efforts for the Department of Veterans Affairs. As a young man in high school I had a real interest in photography, but unfortunately I cound not afford to continue this fine craft once I entered college as I had to survive on a limited budget. When my friend Rich Ikerd told me about his new DSLR camera (D100) that he had just purchased and showed off some of the fine images he obtained, I knew that it was time for me to get back into this hobby. I have since pursued this with as much time and effort as I can afford, being I still have to work for a living. My true interests are wildlife and landscape photography. I so enjoy my time out away from the hustle and bustle of society. I have found that nothing man has ever done comes close to matching the beauty that Mother Nature has created.
